About the Photographer

Bob Laster is a retired physician who has had an enthusiastic interest in photography for the last fifty years.  During this time, he has photographed the countryside around Horseshoe Lake, Arkansas.  This includes the obvious lake scenery but also the surrounding countryside with the changes that come to small communities in the USA with the passage of time.

As we look back, there may always be times and places we remember fondly, and wish they were still here.  However, also notice that the land and people endure.  Multiple small communities, such as Horseshoe Lake, contribute to the strength of the USA, which remains great.
